Bring on the heat!!

WOW! I can't believe how nice it was today. The boys got to put their shorts on, and it still felt hot.

It was nice to spend the afternoon as a family!

Bret was out doing his usual yard work. He loves his yard! (Almost as much as he loves me!)

WHAT?!

So I had to blog about this! The Easter bunny brought the boys these way cute Easter eggs that were filled with cars and spider man tattoos! You can imagine how excited the boys were when they saw them, as was the Easter bunny. Well low and behold, when we opened them, so that we could wear one, what did I find but this:

WARNING: Product contains lead.

WHAT?! A product specifically made for children, not to mention a product that you rub on their skin? I just couldn't believe it. I was so angry!! Anyway, I decided to be a bad mom for a moment, because they were sooo excited about them I couldn't very well tell them the bad news. So I put ONE on them, and told them that the rest we would have to use as stickers and put them on paper. How disappointing! I should have known when it read: Made in China!!

Happy Easter!!

So Easter was great! The boys had so much fun. We went to Grandma Burningham's on Saturday for an Easter egg hunt and some delicious food. Then on Easter Sunday we spent it with the Deamer's doing the same. Isn't great having family?! We are very lucky that we get to not make it only a day but a whole weekend!!:)

Today we were able to go to the park with our friends to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. We even got a little sunburned! We topped off the day with new spring pj's and new haircuts. I can't wait to enjoy more days like today. I just can't believe how much happiness these boys bring to my life! I'm so lucky!!

Spring is here!!

Wow! I almost forgot how to blog!! Things here at the Burningham household are going well. The boys got new bunk beds a few weeks ago and thinks it's the best. Me and Bret think it's pretty great because the boys sleep like angels, and as you know that means we do too!

We are all very excited to see the snow melting and the flowers blooming. It feels like it has been an extra long winter. The boys are very anxious to get out and get playing in the sun. Goodbye sweaters and long pants, hello shorts and t-shirts!! (However I'm still working on welcoming the swimsuits!)
