Playin' in the HOT sun!

The boys wanted to play outside today, so I put their suits on and hooked up our little sprinkler, and let them have fun. It was so hot, we only were outside about an hour, then had to call it quits. Welcome to living in the desert in mid-July!!

Jase was a little hesitant at first, but as you can see it didn't take him very long to realize how much fun it was.

Here they are again, just in a different spot. I had to keep moving the sprinkler around the front yard so we wouldn't have a swamp!!

I love hangin' out with my boys! Being a mom is the greatest job EVER!

My Superhero!

Ty was playing with his little friends today. He came home for a while, when his friends showed up in their dress up clothes. I asked Ty if he wanted to get into his superman cape and he said "yes" very excitedly. I had to snap a few pictures, because I thought it was so funny. If you didn't know any better, you would have thought it was Halloween!!:)

Peter, Ty, and only half of Josh! It was hard to take good pictures, because everytime I went to snap one, they all would get really close!

Jase didn't have a costume, but he is always happy that Ty is nice enough to let him play with his friends! My babies are getting so big!!

Way too much fast food!

I had to write this about my sweet little Ty! Last night around dinner time, Ty came to me to tell me he was hungry. I told him I was just about to get dinner started, and he asked me what we were having. I told him I was going to make cheeseburgers, and he gave me the strangest look. He then stated innocently, "Mom, don't you have to buy those? You can't make them at home, can you?" Bret then turns to me and says sarcastically, "Do you think you guys eat at Wendy's too much?" What can I say? Anyways, after a good long laugh we explained that yes, you can make cheeseburgers at home!!:)
