So I came home today after getting my nails done, and my little buddy Jase was out front hangin' around a blue Tupperware. I got out of my car, and Bret says, "Jase, should we show mommy what we found?" All I could see from afar was the Tupperware and something in it that was large and orange. I looked at him and asked, "Is it a snake?" I HATE snakes. As I got closer I noticed the large orange thing I had saw was a rock Bret had put in the Tupperware for our new "frog" to hang out on. He continued to tell me he was tossing some grass and weeds into our fire pit out back when he noticed something jumped. He thought it was just a grasshopper, but when he got closer to check it out, there was the frog!
So we have him in a new Tupperware with some rocks and water, and he is living outside on the patio. We figure that's the best place for him since that way hopefully he can catch his food like mosquitoes and other bugs. I asked Jase if we should name him, and he told me his name was Grover. I have no idea where it came from, but if that's what he wants to call it, so be it!
Fun for your boys, I would keep it outside too! Parker has frogs at his school. When I saw one at first, I thought it was a grasshopper too, i TOLD HIM THey have to stay at the school and "learn"...needless to say, you are brave!
